Program Overview
The MS Geology program is a research-oriented graduate degree that provides advanced knowledge of earth sciences, including mineralogy, petrology, structural geology, sedimentology, hydrogeology, geophysics, geochemistry, environmental geology, and petroleum geology. The program combines advanced coursework, field investigations, laboratory analysis, and supervised research to prepare graduates for addressing geological challenges related to natural resources, environmental sustainability, energy exploration, and geohazard assessment.
Eligibility Criteria
BS Geology (4-year) or an equivalent degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
Applicants must meet the minimum CGPA/percentage requirements prescribed by the university.
Candidates may be required to qualify an entry test and/or interview according to university admission regulations.
