Program Overview

The Ph.D. Physics program is an advanced research degree designed to develop highly skilled physicists through original scientific research and innovation. The program offers specialization in areas such as quantum physics, condensed matter physics, nuclear physics, particle physics, optics and photonics, materials science, computational physics, electronics, renewable energy, and astrophysics. Doctoral candidates conduct independent research, utilize advanced experimental and computational techniques, publish scholarly work in international journals, and contribute to scientific and technological advancement.

Eligibility Criteria

M.Phil. or MS in Physics or a closely related discipline from an HEC-recognized university. Applicants must meet the minimum CGPA/academic requirements prescribed by the university and HEC. Candidates may be required to qualify the university's admission test and/or interview. Submission and approval of a research proposal may be required as part of the admission process.
