The Ph.D. Pashto program is an advanced research degree designed to develop scholars with expertise in Pashto language, literature, linguistics, folklore, cultural studies, literary criticism, and translation studies. The program emphasizes original research, critical analysis, and academic scholarship on classical and contemporary Pashto literature and language. Doctoral candidates conduct independent research under expert supervision, contribute to the preservation and promotion of Pashto language and culture, and publish research that advances knowledge in the field.
Eligibility Criteria
M.Phil. in Pashto or a closely related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
Applicants must meet the minimum CGPA/academic requirements prescribed by the university and HEC.
Candidates may be required to qualify the university's admission test and/or interview.
Submission and approval of a research proposal may be required as part of the admission process.
