Program Overview

The Ph.D. Biotechnology program is an advanced research degree designed to develop experts in modern biotechnology and life sciences. The program emphasizes original research in molecular biology, genetic engineering, genomics, bioinformatics, industrial biotechnology, medical biotechnology, agricultural biotechnology, immunology, and bioprocess technology. Eligibility Criteria

M.Phil. or MS in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a closely related life sciences discipline from an HEC-recognized university. Applicants must meet the minimum CGPA/academic requirements prescribed by the university and HEC. Candidates may be required to qualify the university's admission test and/or interview. Submission of a research proposal may be required as part of the admission process.
