About the Department

The Department of Islamic Studies was established in 2022 at BKUC. To address the growing importance of Islamic education in the modern world, the department launched BS Islamic Studies in Fall 2022 and MPhil Islamic Studies in Fall 2023, with PhD planned after HEC NOC. The department aims to enlighten students about the foundations of Islam, its place among world religions, and its guidance for contemporary societal challenges.

Our Mission

To develop intellectually and practically competent graduates who understand the essence of Islam, interpret Quran and Hadith authentically, promote interfaith harmony, address contemporary challenges, and conduct meaningful research in Islamic Studies.
