Dr. Nizar Ahmad

Dr. Nizar Ahmad is an Assistant Professor at Department of Sociology, Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, Pakistan. He holds a PhD in Sociology and has more than fifteen years of teaching, and research experience in higher education. He has also served as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication, Arizona State University, USA, where he engaged in collaborative research on issues related to tribal relations, peacebuilding, and social resilience. Dr. Ahmad's research interests include peacebuilding, violent extremism, youth resilience, social cohesion, conflict transformation. His research primarily focuses on understanding the social and structural factors that contribute to peace and resilience in conflict-affected communities, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He has published numerous research articles in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at various academic conferences.
